Description

The calla lily, also known as the water lily, has a symbolic meaning of purity, beauty, and elegance. Its name comes from the Greek “kalos,” meaning “beautiful,” and it is often associated with renewal and eternal life. Some people also say it brings luck. As for its history, calla lilies date back to Greek and Roman times, when they were associated with festivities and enjoyment, due to their shape resembling a drinking cup.
